Supply of Non-Operated Plant Hire and Haulage to Enable Demolition Works to Railway in Bristol

Summary

Dyett Group were contracted by their client, BAM Nuttall to carry out demolition works to a railway bridge over the Swansea to Paddington line in a suburb of Bristol during the Christmas period of 2014.

Dyett Group approached Darlow Lloyd & Sons to provide operated and non operated plant hire along with haulage services to the project which was to be undertaken during the holiday period.

Darlow Lloyd & Sons provided a package of plant and equipment to the project including telehandler, compressors, breakers, and a range of excavators including 3t, 8t and 20t plus hammers. We supplied a number of CPCS operators on the project working across various shifts including night time work during possessions. We also provided haulage and disposal services of the dismantled bridge using our own low loaders.
